Glorpo's Parakeet
Glorpo has been murdered! Luckily, his pet parakeet Poncho managed to get the culprit's name-tag before he could escape. It's time to pilot Glorpo's drone and get revenge on those responsible.
Controls:
Space Bar - skip cut scene
Click Buttons - control your drone
Enter - skips the level ( for if it is too hard )
Ammo:
Smoke - Blocks sight, but not of cameras
Freeze - Freezes drones and cameras in place
Mine - Blows up patrol drones if they touch it
Bullet - Specially included just for Kell
Thank you so much for visiting the page and playing the game! Turn your sound on PLEASE! I AM BEGGING YOU! I VOICE ACTED A PARAKEET AND IF NO-ONE HEARS IT I WILL HAVE FREAKED MY ROOMATE OUT FOR NO REASON!
I had a lot of fun working on this one, even though it was VERY stressful. If i make it through to the next round I will for sure be more aware of scope creep and do a better job managing what I can actually get done in the given time frame lol.
Created in 2 weeks for GDKO Round 2.
Projectile - The drone has a cannon to combat enemy drones
Animal - Glorpo's Parakeet of course!
Story - Getting revenge for a murdered friend
Sadly didn't have enough time to polish this one as much as I would have liked, but I'm glad I got it in a working state in time.

The cutscenes and voice acting are amazing. I really like the parrot impression. The control is very unique and cool.
I feel like the game is a little bit too hard right now, and some people won't be able to enjoy the story because of the difficulty.
Currently, I feel that the timer is too short, and it requires almost no errors to finish each level. The timer starts before you move, which makes the limited time even more restrictive. If you fail at the start, there is almost no chance you'll make it in time. So the best thing you can do is wait for 10 seconds so you can press start as fast as possible.
I feel that a more generous timer would make it more approachable. Alternatively, maybe make it possible for players to skip some levels so they can experience the story.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I agree with what you are saying, some levels definitely require near perfection. I'll add a skip feature! Thank you for playing!
